I'm the worst packer ever (I always forget socks) and cannot for the life of me pack light. I've had many an airport meltdown over bag weight limits. I really don't want to lug a heavy bag around all day so I packed two options, a pair of tights and some make-up and left it at that. I'm sure I'm forgetting something important...
