Hello and welcome to The Last Renaissance Studies Major!

You might be asking yourself, why does this blog have such a funny name? It’s because I will be (in 2012!) the last person to graduate from Yale with a degree in Renaissance Studies.

Renaissance Studies? Yup, that’s right. I specialize in Early modern England (Tudors, Stuarts, etc.) with a focus on the role of women, specifically handiwork and textiles.

But this blog isn’t just about the things I study, it’s about my day-to-day life at Yale. What I wear, what/where I eat, and what I’m finding inspiring at the moment.
